With 7 minutes on the clock, Hernani Paranaense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 8 played minutes Gostoso AD got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Paranaense. The long shot by Sivert Moberg in the 8th minute really tested Franklin Linhares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Gostoso AD's Franklin Linhares got control of the ball when Dante Demesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Gostoso AD's Humberto Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Dante Demesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PeterDias FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cipriano Xavier hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If João Augusto Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Jayvier kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Arí Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Franklin Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Moberg in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, João Augusto Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 46 minutes into the game, Dante Demesio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Franklin Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dante Demesio made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Demesio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Linhares saved Gostoso AD from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Costa in the 55th minute of play forced Gostoso AD's goalkeeper Franklin Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Moberg lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in PeterDias FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Tiaguinho Alcântara, was totally fooled by Gostoso AD's Ezequiel Lopez, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. João Augusto Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Linhares having to interfere. João Augusto Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Alcântara having to interfere. After 75 played minutes, PeterDias FC's Roberto Sena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Linhares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PeterDias FC reached it. In the 81st play minute João Augusto Paes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tiaguinho Alcântara. 2-3. If João Augusto Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Sena did an outstanding performance 95 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-4 to the right of an irritated Franklin Linhares in the goal. Gostoso AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
