Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pereira kicked off to start the match. Jorginho de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pereira in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of THE dogs booed when Gostoso AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Toninho Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franklin Linhares. Gostoso AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Toninho Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Franklin Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Augusto Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franklin Linhares came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by THE dogs's Toninho Romero. But to his dismay, Toninho Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 25th minute, THE dogs's José Augusto Fontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pereira in the 29th minute of play forced THE dogs's goalkeeper Jorginho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, José Augusto Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Linhares. Gostoso AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If José Augusto Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Toninho Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franklin Linhares. That made the score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. After some careless play in the THE dogs defense, Jaime Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorginho de Castro. The THE dogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorginho de Castro should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toninho Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, THE dogs's Jorginho de Castro got control of the ball when Humberto Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wellington Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes in the game Ezequiel Lopez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to José Paulo Melo. Jorginho de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Melo in the 58th minute of the match. José Augusto Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Augusto Fontes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Franklin Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE dogs. Jorginho de Castro made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when João Augusto Paes sent off a good shot on target. Jorginho de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jorginho de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorginho de Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Carvalho in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Toninho Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Linhares was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th play minute João Augusto Paes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorginho de Castro. 6-3. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-3 when Toninho Romero sped through Gostoso AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franklin Linhares. Gostoso AD's Franklin Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Fontes in the 96th minute of play. THE dogs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
