Rodolfo Cardozo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Alberto Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Brasil in the 14th minute of play. Alberto Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Messias's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Christiano Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sena having to interfere. Alberto Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Moreno in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Gomes in the 33rd minute of play forced Reducao AD's goalkeeper Edvaldo Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ori's Alberto Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Capixaba in the 37th minute of play. Juvenal Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Edvaldo Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ori. Edvaldo Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Gomes in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juvenal Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Paraense hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Christiano Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sena having to interfere. Edvaldo Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Hoffmann in the 60th minute of play. Alberto Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Messias in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Reducao AD's zone, Juvenal Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Tróia came out of the goal and Juvenal Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juvenal Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Tróia having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Reducao AD's Christiano Messias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edvaldo Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Gomes in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes, Evandro de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reducao AD and the Ori players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Isaltino Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ori's protests and gave Isaltino Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. Isaltino Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Christiano Messias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Sena having to make a save. The supporters of Reducao AD booed when Ori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reducao AD's Cléber Lira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alberto Sena but with some difficulty. Juvenal Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
