Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Guilherme Diniz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Bento in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zaca FC's André Luís Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Zaca FC from getting a goal against them. André Luís Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Furtado in the 12th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Arabela got a freekick which was hit by André Jacinto. After having played for 19 minutes, Nereo Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Arabela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Neiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 22ndth minute of the game Nereo Bento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arabela's Cipriano Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, André Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zaca FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Zaca FC's Nereo Bento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the match, Nereo Bento notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arabela's Cipriano Catarinense. Cipriano Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. André Luís Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arabela. The supporters of Arabela booed when Zaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When André Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Arabela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Zaca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Diniz scored to the left of an out of position André Luís Monteiro, making the score, 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Bento to strike the kick off in the second half. Arabela's Cipriano Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Bento in the 51st minute of play. Nereo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Bento in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Catarinense saved Arabela from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Arabela's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Bento came free, but Cipriano Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Arabela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Souza to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Bento in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Catarinense saved Arabela from getting behind. Cipriano Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Peres in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Arabela's goalkeeper Cipriano Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Jacinto. Luiz Guilherme Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Bento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Cipriano Catarinense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nereo Bento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arabela's Cipriano Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Bento in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Souza during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zaca FC booed when Arabela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Arabela's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Peres came free, but Cipriano Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nereo Bento came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Zaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Bento couldn't finish the play. Nereo Bento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Cipriano Catarinense 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Zaca FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arabela.
