The referee ignored Pitico Caiu FC's protests and gave Gustavo do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Canoeiros's Arlindo Travassos got control of the ball when Eustaquio Primo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitinho Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Vitinho Ramalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arlindo Travassos. Vitinho Ramalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After 94 minutes, Eriberto Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitico Caiu FC and the Canoeiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Pitico Caiu FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Lira. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
