Tambaqui FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Diguinho Souto scored to the left of an out of position Robinho Amaral, making the score, 1-0. In the 6th minute Naldo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Tambaqui FC's Robinho Amaral got control of the ball when Gugu Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 played minutes Meninos do Morro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Brito. After 18 minutes of play, Meninos do Morro F.C's Durvalino de Lima made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robinho Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the game, Durvalino de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Robinho Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Durvalino de Lima in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robinho Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Tambaqui FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gernando Salgado hit a great ball. Robinho Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino de Lima in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Durvalino de Lima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robinho Amaral, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Fernandez got free with Robinho Amaral in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robinho Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino de Lima in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durvalino de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Diguinho Souto came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Meninos do Morro F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diguinho Souto couldn't finish the play. Adriano da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robinho Amaral. Tambaqui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieguinho Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When Renato Perez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambaqui FC's protests and gave Renato Perez a yellow card for diving instead. Robinho Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Oliveira in the 67th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Adriano da Rocha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Tambaqui FC's Marcel Brasil got a free kick in the 70th minute. Robinho Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Cordeiro in the 72nd minute of the match. Gugu Fernandez took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Amaral. Robinho Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Durvalino de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Tambaqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Simão to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Souto in the 86th minute of play forced Tambaqui FC's goalkeeper Robinho Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durvalino de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Robinho Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durvalino de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Amaral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Brodel in the 93rd minute of play forced Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Adriano da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Meninos do Morro F.C had played much better football throughout.
