The crowd rose to their feet as Elano Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodriguinho Domingues. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Rodriguinho Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sena in the 8th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano Fontes in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Elano Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho Domingues. Laions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elano Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 15th minute Eusébio Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Rosa in the 17th minute of play forced Frecheira EC's goalkeeper José Maria Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Laions FC's Luís Fernando Melo got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Laions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Couto came free, but Rodriguinho Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Domingues made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Roberto Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. José Maria Breckenfeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Frecheira EC's Bruno Sena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Laions FC's Rodriguinho Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Laions FC from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Rosa to make the kick off. Rodriguinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Roberto Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 74th minute, Gonçalo de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frecheira EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Rodriguinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Clóvis Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Breckenfeld was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
