After 12 played minutes Esporte Clube Poções got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Mazza. Balança Rede FC's Dorian Barros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Esporte Clube Poções. Mané Garrincha in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robinho Cruz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balança Rede FC's goalkeeper Rogério Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robinho Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mané Garrincha went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 39 played minutes Mané Garrincha rounded Esporte Clube Poções's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Garrincha in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robinho Cruz saved Esporte Clube Poções from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee gave Balança Rede FC a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcelinho Cearense, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Esporte Clube Poções's Robinho Cruz. 6-0. Robinho Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Garrincha's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 62 minutes, Alex Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esporte Clube Poções and the Balança Rede FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esporte Clube Poções! Robinho Cruz went to the wrong direction when Marcelinho Cearense was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Poções's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Garrincha came free, but Robinho Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Balança Rede FC fully deserved thier win.
