Luisinho Cavalcante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jaime Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Branco in the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Giovanni Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cristal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fanáticos the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Cristal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Giovanni Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cristal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Pitta couldn't finish the play. Luisinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Pitta in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar de Barros during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Luizão Arce made the kick off in the second half. Luisinho Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovanni Pitta went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Fanáticos's zone, Giovanni Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisinho Cavalcante came out of the goal and Giovanni Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizão Arce scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisinho Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luizão Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizão Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luizão Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tales Simões got free with Jaime Tinoco in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Branco in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when André Branco came free, but Jaime Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Cristal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
