Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Enio Abreu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Noel Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho de Brito having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Aguilhadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Bebeto Sousa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Naldo Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurinho de Brito skillfully saved the ball. Maurinho de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leopoldo Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguilhadas's protests and gave Leopoldo Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aguilhadas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Aguilhadas:s Maurinho de Brito showed great skill when he stopped Naldo Rocha:s penalty. 26 minutes into the match, Naldo Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurinho de Brito. Aguilhadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naldo Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Abreu in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Fernando Vargas made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aguilhadas's Maurinho de Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Leopoldo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurinho de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Vargas in the 36th minute of the match. Tomás Godoi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Noel Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguilhadas. 42 minutes into the match, Aguilhadas's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Rocha came free, but Maurinho de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Rocha scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho de Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Vargas to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Naldo Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurinho de Brito. The goal made the score 0-4. Maurinho de Brito came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Patro F C's Fernando Vargas. But to his dismay, Fernando Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Aguilhadas's Maurinho de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Veiga in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aguilhadas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naldo Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time Patro F C's players had a chance to rest. Patro F C's Marquinhos Proença was substituted for Luís Fernando Negri. 63 minutes into the game, one of Aguilhadas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Patro F C a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Naldo Rocha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aguilhadas's Maurinho de Brito. 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Naldo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patro F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Maurinho de Brito made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Bastos during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marquinhos Proença took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurinho de Brito. Maurinho de Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Maurinho de Brito came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Patro F C's Marquinhos Proença. But to his dismay, Marquinhos Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When Luiz Paulo Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Aguilhadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Paulista couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Bernabe Herencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Patro F C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aguilhadas.
