Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agostinho Pombal kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Pombal in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luís Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ediberto Magalhães came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luisinho Meireles could save by the left post. Francisco Furtado took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisinho Meireles. Luisinho Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Francisco Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Boleiros FC's Maicon Catarinense got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Boleiros FC booed when Fulumir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Boleiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Furtado came free, but Luisinho Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luís Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Pombal in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Furtado got free with Luisinho Meireles in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Furtado in the 36th minute. Francisco Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Luisinho Meireles made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Furtado made a kick off. Francisco Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Boleiros FC's Magno Domingues got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Francisco Furtado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisinho Meireles skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute, Frédson de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dida Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Boleiros FC defense, Ediberto Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisinho Meireles. The Boleiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisinho Meireles should have stopped the shot. In the 74th match minute, Fulumir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Gerber to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fulumir's zone, Eusébio Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís Machado came out of the goal and Eusébio Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Furtado struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Luisinho Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulumir. If Nando Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Fulumir players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
