Pedro Donatello started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Coelho in the 3rd minute of play forced ANARQUIA's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter De Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's Pedro Donatello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Pieter De Vos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kléber Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İslam Mertkan's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, İslam Mertkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Pieter De Vos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Coelho in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Mertkan came free, but Kléber Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İslam Mertkan's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Kléber Salles made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when İslam Mertkan sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Gerson Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Pieter De Vos. ANARQUIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Inter de São Paulo's Gerson Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gerson Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Pieter De Vos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İslam Mertkan got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kléber Salles handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. İslam Mertkan had several of the Inter de São Paulo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Kléber Salles as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Coelho in the 45th minute of play forced ANARQUIA's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter De Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Pieter De Vos having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jan-Pieter De Vos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerson Coelho in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Inter de São Paulo's Gerson Coelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan-Pieter De Vos. Jan-Pieter De Vos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Inter de São Paulo's Kléber Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İslam Mertkan in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Inter de São Paulo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gerson Coelho hit a great ball. Gerson Coelho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Pieter De Vos came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerson Coelho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Dida Doutté hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Coelho got free with Jan-Pieter De Vos in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ANARQUIA booed when Inter de São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Doutté didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Jan-Pieter De Vos managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Inter de São Paulo's Pedro Donatello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Inter de São Paulo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marquinhos Botelho in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Inter de São Paulo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jorge Carioca hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Donatello got free with Jan-Pieter De Vos in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inter de São Paulo were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after ANARQUIA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marquinhos Botelho took the corner. Kléber Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ANARQUIA's Hélio Paranaense got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Inter de São Paulo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ANARQUIA.
