Cido Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cido Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Donatello went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, Gerson Coelho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cido Meireles, 4-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Donatello made a kick off. Gerson Coelho made a great header on Inter de São Paulo's corner, it was just that Pirajiba's Cido Meireles managed to reach the ball for a save. After 52 minutes, Gerson Coelho made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pirajiba's Cido Meireles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th match minute, Pirajiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Cido Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
