The Messejana SportClub - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Juarês Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brejal's Paulão Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juarês Melo got free with Paulão Marques in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute of the match Messejana SportClub - DMZ got a corner. Brejal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Paulão Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Eurico de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
