In the 8th minute Haroldo Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Figueiredo in the 12th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Correia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Praetorian™ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Torres to maneuver through the defense. Gino de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Haroldo Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Timbahuba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Perez came free, but Didi Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didi Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Alves's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Soares was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Carlos Fernando Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Didi Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes, Praetorian™ FC's Tadeu Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Didi Soares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Praetorian™ FC reached it. In the 47th minute of the match Toninho Meireles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Didi Vianna skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Didi Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Perez in the 51st minute. When Praetorian™ FC's Haroldo Alves in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timbahuba SC's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Haroldo Alves lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Didi Soares. In the 59th minute Haroldo Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Perez went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Erasmo das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Praetorian™ FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo das Neves. In the 69th minute, Erasmo das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Magno de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Timbahuba SC got a freekick which was hit by Magno de Brito. Didi Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Neiva in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Alves in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Didi Soares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Alves in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Soares saved Timbahuba SC from getting behind. Didi Soares made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Severino Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. Timbahuba SC's Mathias Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Praetorian™ FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
