Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfred Rudqvist in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Blicharz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Rudqvist got free with Filip Blicharz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13thth minute of the game Manfred Rudqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canários EC's Filip Blicharz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Canários EC's Filip Blicharz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Canários EC from getting a goal against them. Filip Blicharz was a little too slow when Manfred Rudqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Filip Blicharz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Rudqvist in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Manchester United FC got a corner. Canários EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Simão de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Glauco Saraiva was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho got free with Filip Blicharz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Luiz Eduardo Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canários EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Eduardo Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Martini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Blicharz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Luiz Fabiano de Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Filip Blicharz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Luiz Eduardo Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Canários EC defense, Joachim De Jonghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Blicharz. The Canários EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Blicharz should have stopped the shot. After 58 minutes, Manfred Rudqvist made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Canários EC's Filip Blicharz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Rudqvist in the 61st minute of play forced Canários EC's goalkeeper Filip Blicharz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Manfred Rudqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Blicharz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Filip Blicharz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Rudqvist's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Filip Blicharz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Canários EC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Rudqvist came free, but Filip Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Blicharz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
