In the 21st minute of the match Canários EC got a corner. Praetorian™ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Duarte Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 25th minute, Orlando Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinho Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Vianna having to interfere. Canários EC's Filip Blicharz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Alves in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Nilmar Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Praetorian™ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Netto to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Robrecht Moreau took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Didi Vianna to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Canários EC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Palmeira. A hard shot by Adalberto Leme from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Filip Blicharz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 62nd match minute, Canários EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Canários EC's Filip Blicharz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Figueiredo in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Eduardo Queiroz in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Vianna saved Praetorian™ FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Queiroz put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Didi Vianna. Luiz Eduardo Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Vianna having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Canários EC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Alves came free, but Filip Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
