With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukáš Modrić in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enes Enescu saved Safety Center Segurança from getting behind. Enes Enescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukáš Modrić in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Calistrat Nasta made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Safety Center Segurança getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. The Independente FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
