Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moisés de Sousa started the match with the kick off. Sérgio Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Amaral in the 3rd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Proença hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Sérgio Freire made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Daniel Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Freire having to make a save. When Patrick Vander came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the União Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Vander couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Daniel Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Sérgio Freire managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when União Verde FC's Patrick Vander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd minute of the match União Verde FC got a corner. Oranil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Fantini ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Zé Paulo Botelho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Freire quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Oranil's Sérgio Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Amaral in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléber Saldanha in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Maciel saved União Verde FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Oranil's Sérgio Freire got control of the ball when Patrick Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Amaral in the 28th minute of the match. Sérgio Freire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Vander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, União Verde FC's Daniel Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Zé Paulo Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Freire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Vander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. Daniel Amaral struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sérgio Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for União Verde FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Patrick Vander made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Patrick Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sérgio Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Vander in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Daniel Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Freire having to interfere. If Zé Paulo Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sérgio Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Proença hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Lauris Levants managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. União Verde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauris Levants was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Amaral took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Freire. Sérgio Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Daniel Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Vander got in the 76th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sérgio Freire handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Amaral in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Daniel Amaral notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Oranil's Sérgio Freire. Sérgio Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Patrick Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União Verde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 88th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Proença to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sérgio Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Freire having to interfere. Daniel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sérgio Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. União Verde FC had played much better football throughout.
