Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Mota in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Célio Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Célio Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kiko Marinho made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Murilo Amorim sent off a good shot on target. After 18 played minutes Rubens Carneiro rounded Superação's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 25 minutes into the game, Ponte de Safena's Murilo Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiko Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrézinho Mota made a kick off.
