In the 16th match minute, Santa Teresa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Amaral to maneuver through the defense. When Brahmaskol Sport Club's Baltazar de Almeida in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brahmaskol Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Baltazar de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brahmaskol Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Betadur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Paulista hit a great ball. The supporters of Brahmaskol Sport Club booed when Santa Teresa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Kowalczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar de Almeida got free with Natalio Betadur in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Betadur having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Pontes made a kick off. Natalio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar de Almeida in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Brahmaskol Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Matias Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Augusto Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Matias Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Gay in the 65th minute of play. Matias Pasqual made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro da Silveira in the 74th minute. Álvaro da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Matias Pasqual made a huge save. The attack was good, but when Baltazar de Almeida in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Santa Teresa made a substitution. In the 85th minute of the match, Augusto Pontes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matias Pasqual was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Batiste Aznar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Pasqual came out and tried to block the shot, but Batiste Aznar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 88th minute. Matias Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Augusto Pontes sent off a good shot on target.
