Nildo Paes started the match with the kick off. Pedrão Coelhos short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Narciso da Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When %teams%'s Pedrão Coelho was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 3 minutes into the game. Narciso da Silva was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 5th match minute, Escorpios F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Gentil to maneuver through the defense. Nildo Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte de Barros having to interfere. Duarte de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Paes in the 14th minute of play. If Pedrão Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Escorpios F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Marquez came free, but Duarte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Pedrão Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agnaldo Siqueira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nildo Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Célio Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Superação's Narciso da Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Superação from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tizian Mutach in the 37th minute of play forced Superação's goalkeeper Narciso da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Superação's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Tizian Mutach scored to the left of an out of position Narciso da Silva, making the score, 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, Pedrão Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso da Silva. Superação's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrão Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 45th minute, Pedrão Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Marquez in the 47th minute of play forced Escorpios F. C.'s goalkeeper Duarte de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrão Coelho was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Bo-Erik Lidberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Superação's Narciso da Silva. Narciso da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the game, Escorpios F. C.'s Zé Carlos Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Duarte de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Marquez in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Superação were awarded a corner. Andrézinho Mota went to the cornerflag to take it. Superação's Andrézinho Mota was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Duarte de Barros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 67th minute Zé Carlos Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Sarmento took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso da Silva. Narciso da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 75th minute Pedrão Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Márcio Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Superação getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guto de Barros hit a great ball. Narciso da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Coelho in the 79th minute of the match.
