In the 3rd minute, Vinicio Bermudo made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Botelho. CARDINEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 5th minute, Chico Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Guararapes's Vinicio Bermudo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Guararapes's Vinicio Bermudo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anselmo Botelho. That made the score 3-0 after 9 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tenorio Urrue during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guararapes getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tenorio Urrue hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinicio Bermudo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anselmo Botelho. That made the score 4-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guararapes's Diogo Alagoano got a free kick in the 16th minute. Anselmo Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Carioca in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Ragıp Işık had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Botelho. CARDINEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragıp Işık was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Vinicio Bermudo took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Botelho. Anselmo Botelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. CARDINEL's Anselmo Botelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save CARDINEL from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes Tony Carioca rounded CARDINEL's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Vinicio Bermudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CARDINEL's Anselmo Botelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tony Carioca scored 8-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Botelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Bermudos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Anselmo Botelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Guararapes's Diogo Alagoano got a free kick in the 37th minute. Anselmo Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Guararapes's Tony Carioca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-0. Diogo Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Botelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diogo Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in CARDINEL's zone, Diogo Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Botelho came out of the goal and Diogo Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Botelho was a little too slow when Tony Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 10-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 10-0.

The wind increased when Raúl Neiva made the kick off in the second half. Tony Carioca succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 11-0. Anselmo Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th match minute, CARDINEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Maia to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Alagoano's late challenge caught a CARDINEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Tomás Lago got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeu Guedes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 60th minute Vinicio Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CARDINEL getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carlos Maia hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, CARDINEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. When Chico Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARDINEL's protests and gave Chico Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guararapes booed when CARDINEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guararapes made a substitution. Cristiano Lago replaced Tony Carioca. A collision led to CARDINEL getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Chico Mazza hit a great ball. Anselmo Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragıp Işık in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Vinicio Bermudo sped through CARDINEL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anselmo Botelho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Alagoano in the 79th minute of play forced CARDINEL's goalkeeper Anselmo Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Vinicio Bermudo made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Botelho. CARDINEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Diogo Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guararapes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CARDINEL's Tomás Lago got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Carlos Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Botelho came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Guararapes's Vinicio Bermudo. But to his dismay, Vinicio Bermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. When the referee ended the match the Guararapes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
