Fellipe de Almeida came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Carlos Fernando Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Palmares Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Albuquerque came free, but Fellipe de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Carlos Fernando Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Balevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Caio Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Balevski in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Genko Balevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genko Balevski went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luís Fabiano Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genko Balevski in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fellipe de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fellipe de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Zeledon Soter kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Genko Balevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fellipe de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Rubens Melo got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Carlos Fernando Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fellipe de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Rubens Melo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Zé Paulo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Albuquerque got free with Fellipe de Almeida in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fellipe de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genko Balevski went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 65thth minute of the game Carlos Fernando Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmares Futebol Clube's Fellipe de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palmares Futebol Clube's Fellipe de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Palmares Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mazinho Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fellipe de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edmundo Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazinho Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Pernambucano hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Genko Balevski made a precise shot to the right of Fellipe de Almeida. Palmares Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Palmares Futebol Clube's Fellipe de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Palmares Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Palmares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Leme. Genko Balevski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xayveon Orsini was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. When the match was over CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Palmares Futebol Clube throughout the match.
