The Rio das Ostras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Artur Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Moreira's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Rio das Ostras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Moreira came free, but Artur Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovanildo Mendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Palmkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ronaldo Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Zumbi - Férias from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Rio das Ostras FC's Geovanildo Mendi threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christer Palmkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Rio das Ostras FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Donny Neira hit a great ball. Magno Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Artur Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Moreira in the 36th minute of play forced Rio das Ostras FC's goalkeeper Artur Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio das Ostras FC's goalkeeper Artur Tinoco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dráuzio Aguiar hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Magno Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Moreira in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Tinoco saved Rio das Ostras FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno Moreira in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Moreira in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Tinoco saved Rio das Ostras FC from getting behind.

Christer Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Geovanildo Mendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Alexandre Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio das Ostras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Zumbi - Férias the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Rio das Ostras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Santana to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vila Zumbi - Férias booed when Rio das Ostras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Elano Coutinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Tinoco, 0-3. If Magno Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Magno Moreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th match minute, Vila Zumbi - Férias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Netto to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Christer Palmkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Geovanildo Mendi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Christer Palmkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanildo Mendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Dino Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio das Ostras FC's Donny Neira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vila Zumbi - Férias. 78 minutes into the match, Rio das Ostras FC's goalkeeper Artur Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Moreira. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Magno Moreira came free and shot a quick shot against goal 80 minutes in the game, fortunately Artur Tinoco had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Magno Moreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Artur Tinoco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Magno Moreiras short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Artur Tinoco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute, Guga Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Rio das Ostras FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
