The Predador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Walmir Neiva scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanildo Mendi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vila Zumbi - Férias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Geovanildo Mendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Magno Moreira kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Predador's keeper Celso Cruz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Geovanildo Mendi came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Predador's Walmir Neiva. But to his dismay, Walmir Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmir Neiva to make the kick off. Waldemar Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovanildo Mendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Cardozo got free with Geovanildo Mendi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Vila Zumbi - Férias getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Geovanildo Cannavaro hit a great ball. Geovanildo Mendi was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Walmir Neiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walmir Neiva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Geovanildo Mendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
