After a rather tough play, E.C TAUBATÉ's Rui Pena got a free kick in the 24th minute. Clóvis Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match Doug Zappa F.C. got a corner. E.C TAUBATÉ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When Frank Siqueira in the 32nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Morjan Al Sayer kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Siqueira in the 36th minute of play forced E.C TAUBATÉ's goalkeeper Morjan Al Sayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Iwan Kolbe as he didn't even see the shot coming. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Toscano couldn't finish the play. Iwan Kolbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Marz in the 88th minute of the match. Morjan Al Sayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 95 minutes into the match, Toninho Arruda notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Doug Zappa F.C.'s Iwan Kolbe. Iwan Kolbe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Doug Zappa F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
