Frutal FC's Alberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Moreno in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lidice defense, Alexandre Vides kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho Gaspar. The Lidice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho Gaspar should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efraín Bacete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Efraín Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frutal FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
