Gabri Alvarez started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Cearense. After 4 minutes Landulfos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giancarlo Furlan who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Landulfos FC's goalie and right to José Augusto Cearense. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Landulfos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Landulfos FC's Naldo da Silveira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Michael Shaw, made in the 11th minute of the game. Nilson Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Napoleone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Dionísio in the 17th minute of play forced Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Chaves do 8 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chaves do 8 FC's Giancarlo Furlan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Andrea Napoleone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Landulfos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jeremias Pires made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when José Augusto Cearense sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes of play, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Landulfos FC defense, Flavinho Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Pires. The Landulfos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Pires should have stopped the shot. The Chaves do 8 FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Landulfos FC were winning 1-2.

In the 52nd minute, Giancarlo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Nilson Sarmento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Chaves do 8 FC's goalkeeper Nilson Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Pereira. In the 66th minute José Augusto Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabri Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jeremias Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaves do 8 FC. Landulfos FC's Charles Arruda was substituted for Délio Adam. Nilson Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Pereira in the 79th minute of the match. If Pedrão Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Giancarlo Furlan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaves do 8 FC's protests and gave Giancarlo Furlan a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Chaves do 8 FC got a freekick which was hit by Giancarlo Furlan. In the 88th match minute, Chaves do 8 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Michael Shaw made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arthur Esteves. After a rather tough play, Chaves do 8 FC's Giancarlo Furlan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Chaves do 8 FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Landulfos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Landulfos FC.
