The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Ortega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislas Le Duigou was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After 4th play minutes Arnaldo Ortega shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Stanislas Le Duigou and just under the crossbar into goal. Washington Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Stanislas Le Duigou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Ortega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanislas Le Duigou. Flalemanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Ortega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Ortega in the 15th minute of play forced Flalemanha's goalkeeper Stanislas Le Duigou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Renatinho Lago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislas Le Duigou skillfully saved the ball. If David Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Militros F.C.'s Arnaldo Ortega got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Arnaldo Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislas Le Duigou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flalemanha's Stanislas Le Duigou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Costa in the 36th minute of play. David Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Stanislas Le Duigou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Militros F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo da Mata to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Arnaldo Ortega took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Stanislas Le Duigou to make any attempt to save it. Arnaldo Ortega who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Stanislas Le Duigou when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnaldo Ortega had several of the Flalemanha's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Stanislas Le Duigou as he didn't even see the shot coming. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flalemanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renatinho Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Militros F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Flalemanha's goalie and right to Francisco Regis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Flalemanha's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Militros F.C.'s Ronaldão Silva was substituted for Renatinho Lago. Ian de Castro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flalemanha's goalkeeper Stanislas Le Duigou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Ortega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanislas Le Duigou. Flalemanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Ortega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The supporters of Flalemanha booed when Militros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flalemanha's zone, David Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislas Le Duigou came out of the goal and David Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Militros F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Militros F.C.'s Arnaldo Ortega looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Osvaldo da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Flalemanha's goalkeeper Stanislas Le Duigou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Ortega. Arnaldo Ortega struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Stanislas Le Duigou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. Militros F.C.'s Arnaldo Ortega was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Militros F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
