Frédson de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Jansson having to interfere. Marcinho Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrinchinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Juventus Turim- DMZ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pedrão de Sousa hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Mané Garrinchinha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcinho Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrinchinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcinho Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Juventus Turim- DMZ's Marcinho Félix got control of the ball when Dráusio de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Mané Garrinchinha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Garrinchinha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Santista CIMZ. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mané Garrinchinha to strike the kick off in the second half. Mané Garrinchinha scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia Santista CIMZ's Ruy Motta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dinei Fernandez, made in the 66th minute of the game. Mané Garrinchinha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho Félix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Mané Garrinchinha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Dinei Fernandez in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Academia Santista CIMZ's Zhang Chen Chuan. Marcinho Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Pirani in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when Juventus Turim- DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Academia Santista CIMZ's Dráusio de Queirós was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcinho Félix in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Wilian Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Félix. Juventus Turim- DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 95th match minute, Juventus Turim- DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Wilian Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Academia Santista CIMZ had played much better football throughout.
