The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Durvalino Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute of the match Ibis Football Club got a corner. AGE Guarany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sydney Tepedino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Sydney Tepedino drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind AGE Guarany's goalkeeper. Giuseppe Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Vasco having to interfere. Durvalino Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Ibis Football Club got a corner. AGE Guarany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sydney Tepedino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ibis Football Club's Sydney Tepedino to fire away a dangerous shot which Hortêncio Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Acácio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Jurdan in the 33rd minute of the match. Hortêncio Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Costa having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, AGE Guarany's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Vinhas came free, but Hortêncio Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Durvalino Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibis Football Club and the AGE Guarany players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Durvalino Vinhas hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Ibis Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalidou Koulibaly to maneuver through the defense.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Vinhas in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hortêncio Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute Durvalino Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Ibis Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pontes to maneuver through the defense. AGE Guarany's Hortêncio Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Vinhas in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Durvalino Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibis Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durvalino Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hortêncio Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibis Football Club. Hortêncio Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durvalino Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With an all-out effort, AGE Guarany's Acácio Vasco threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giuseppe Gerber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Durvalino Vinhas sped through AGE Guarany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hortêncio Costa. 87 minutes into the match, AGE Guarany's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Vinhas came free, but Hortêncio Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Sydney Tepedino got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Many of AGE Guarany's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AGE Guarany may have spent more time on the ball, but Ibis Football Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
