Pedro Augusto Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Ezequiel Andrade managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 24th minute Jo Reijniers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Reis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, one of Manituba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manituba. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Barão Futebol Clube. Sidnei Vander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Augusto Pinho. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Andrade in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 康钢林 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 康钢林 was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Juninho Albuquerque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 康钢林 having to make a save. After 53 minutes, Gerson Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barão Futebol Clube and the Manituba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerson Coelho hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 康钢林 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Andrade's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Barão Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alois Cambuquira came free, but 康钢林 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Nascimento hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sidnei Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Pinho having to interfere. Nicoló Galvan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Pinho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Manituba made a substitution.
