The Vingadores F.C U23 fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Vingadores F.C U23's André Guimarães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With his leg Gualter de Brito managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when SAS's Edgar Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vingadores F.C U23's Gualter de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Gualter de Brito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Luiz Guilherme Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAS's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes SAS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Madureira. In the 88th minute, Christian Pulisic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. The SAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vingadores F.C U23 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
