Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Marília AC's Akın Seccac started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Itaretama's Ian Trigo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Rubens Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akın Seccac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Eriberto Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Itaretama's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho de Souza came free, but Rubens Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Paulão Andrade got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Renatinho de Souza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Itaretama's Rubens Moura. Rubens Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Akın Seccac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Filomeno Revuelta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Itaretama booed when Marília AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Koutsomitras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Karl Kaaaas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Loureiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Marília AC's Akın Seccac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubens Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 38th minute, Akın Seccac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubens Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Renatinho de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the game's 44th minute Marília AC's Nikos Koutsomitras took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Rubens Moura and thus the score was 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Filomeno Revuelta made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Si Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Tao Si Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Revuelta in the 63rd minute of play forced Marília AC's goalkeeper Jacinto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Itaretama's Filomeno Revuelta made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Renatinho de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Revuelta in the 86th minute of the match. Tao Si Feng hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Marília AC's Renatinho de Souza pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Egídio de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Itaretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The Itaretama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marília AC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
