After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mateus Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvara's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, Alvara's Nelson Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fábio Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mateus Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvara's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Humberto Dionísio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piraputanga's protests and gave Humberto Dionísio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Piraputanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Nelson Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anaia Jurado made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Elias Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Alvara's Nesho Karadakov got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Fábio Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Anaia Jurado made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Elias Lucas sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Piraputanga's Válter Nóbrega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Piraputanga's goal looked a bit too open when Nesho Karadakov came free, but Luiz Fábio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Piraputanga defense, Mateus Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Zonta. The Piraputanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Zonta should have stopped the shot. Nesho Karadakov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fábio Zonta having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Nelson Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The corner led to Alvara's Robinho Nogueira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Luiz Fábio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fábio Zonta was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Nesho Karadakov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nesho Karadakov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. A collision led to Piraputanga getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alexandre Donatello hit a great ball. Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Piraputanga from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Piraputanga's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Palmeira came free, but Luiz Fábio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Elias Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Elias Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nesho Karadakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Zonta having to interfere. 87 minutes in the game, Nelson Palmeira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luiz Fábio Zonta having to interfere. After 88th play minutes Nesho Karadakov shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Luiz Fábio Zonta and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 94th minute, Alvara's Nesho Karadakov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Alvara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
