Iuri Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Vânderson Pena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Correia's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Vinícius Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinícius Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Pena having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Riograndense FC's Angelo Soares threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Barreto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Markowski in the 20th minute of play forced Riograndense FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vânderson Pena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinícius Correia went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vinícius Correia took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vânderson Pena. Vânderson Pena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vinícius Correia scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vânderson Pena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vânderson Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Markowski in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Elivélton Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vânderson Pena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Chuteira de Prata's goalkeeper Angelo Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Mineiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson da Silva in the 45th minute of play forced Riograndense FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Sebastian Markowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chuteira de Prata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinícius Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Barreto got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vitório Mineiro. After some careless play in the Riograndense FC defense, Vinícius Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vânderson Pena. The Riograndense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vânderson Pena should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Chuteira de Prata booed when Riograndense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson Pena was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Edmílson da Silva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmílson da Silva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Vânderson Pena made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Vinícius Correia sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Vinícius Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinícius Correia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Vânderson Pena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vitório Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Angelo Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vânderson Pena was a little too slow when Sebastian Markowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-9. 92 minutes into the match, Riograndense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Markowski came free, but Vânderson Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riograndense FC's Vânderson Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Correia in the 93rd minute of play. Vinícius Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vânderson Pena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Riograndense FC's Vânderson Pena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Riograndense FC from getting a goal against them. Vânderson Pena was a little too slow when Vinícius Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-10. Chuteira de Prata played a much better game than Riograndense FC and deserved their victory. The Riograndense FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
