Henrique Lira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Lundhberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Verdão da Mantiqueira's Niklas Lundhberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Amorim in the 37th minute of play. Niklas Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Maia in the 39th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Marxistas got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Lira. Vladimir Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Scholey, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro de Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Maia in the 62nd minute of play forced Verdão da Mantiqueira's goalkeeper Niklas Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Verdão da Mantiqueira getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. 陆光卫 hit a great ball. Verdão da Mantiqueira's Zézinho de Sena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimir Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vladimir Costa made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when 陆光卫 sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute Marcel Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Lundhberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Haritzeder in the 84th minute of the match.
