Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Geovanni Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Donato in the 3rd minute of play. Yan Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Geovanni Mineiro made a huge save. 7 minutes into the game, Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s Jorge Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Morena EC's Geovanni Mineiro threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guga Mota, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Geovanni Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Víktor Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antônio Carlos Hoffmann hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Mattos took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Mineiro. Geovanni Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Geovanni Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Mota in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Morena EC's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Figueiredo came free, but Henrique Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Geovanni Mineiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Mattos got free with Geovanni Mineiro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Guga Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eduardo Moraes got free with Geovanni Mineiro in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 62 minutes of play, Morena EC's Haroldo Zonta made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovanni Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Guga Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Víktor Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Jorge Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Morena EC's Guga Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovanni Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guga Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jorge Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Henrique Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Sena hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Jorge Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Mota in the 93rd minute of play. Geovanni Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Donato in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Morena EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
