An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio Luz in the 4th minute of play forced Lipeeh CRF's goalkeeper Leonard Fink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Fink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipeeh CRF's goalkeeper Leonard Fink, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Delassus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Fink having to interfere. Leonard Fink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Vigil's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Lipeeh CRF's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vigil came free, but Leonard Fink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Fink came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeirão das Neves EC MG's Emanuel Vigil. But to his dismay, Emanuel Vigil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lipeeh CRF's zone, Gabriel Delassus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Fink came out of the goal and Gabriel Delassus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Vigil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Fink was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Lipeeh CRF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Túlio Leme hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ribeirão das Neves EC MG's Fernandinho Galvão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Vigil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Fink was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Vigil in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Fink saved Lipeeh CRF from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel de Mendonça during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, one of Lipeeh CRF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Ribeirão das Neves EC MG. Emanuel Vigil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonard Fink. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Lipeeh CRF's Túlio Leme got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Fernandinho Galvão came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonard Fink could save by the left post. If Emanuel Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tarcisio Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Vigil got free with Leonard Fink in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonard Fink made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gabriel Delassus sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Emanuel Vigil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Fink. The goal made the score 0-5. Emanuel Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leonard Fink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Luz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonard Fink firmly grabbed it by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Nelsinho Faria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonard Fink quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tarcisio Luz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Leonard Fink skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Ribeirão das Neves EC MG booed when Lipeeh CRF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Leonard Fink managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Ribeirão das Neves EC MG's Emanuel Vigil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
