55 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's César de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neşat İsrafil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mocaph SC's Neşat İsrafil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Rodrigues in the 71st minute of play. Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Mineiro from getting a goal against them.
