Suárez Rado started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Ren Jie Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ren Jie Fan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the GeRaÇãO-83 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ren Jie Fan couldn't finish the play. Gil Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Jie Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Edgard Mikelats hit a great ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaecá MZ's goalkeeper Gil Paes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto got control of the ball when Suárez Rado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Guaecá MZ's Franciszek Serwach dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Gil Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ren Jie Fan went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Samuca de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaecá MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GeRaÇãO-83 the free kick. After 42 played minutes Guaecá MZ got a freekick which was hit by Samuca de Lima. Gil Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Jie Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guaecá MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristo Negroni was slow to take the kick. During this time GeRaÇãO-83's players had a chance to rest. Sigmund Tutorskiy made a great header on GeRaÇãO-83's corner, it was just that Guaecá MZ's Gil Paes managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ren Jie Fan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Suárez Rado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Guto Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes Guaecá MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristo Negroni who took care of the corner kick. Cristo Negroni made a great header on GeRaÇãO-83's corner, it was just that Guaecá MZ's Gil Paes managed to reach the ball for a save. 66 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Ren Jie Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Paes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GeRaÇãO-83's Robinho Freire was substituted for Ren Jie Fan. Guaecá MZ's Gil Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Guaecá MZ from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Robinho Freire took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Gil Paes to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as GeRaÇãO-83's Robinho Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Paes. That made the score 1-5 after 85 minutes of play. Robinho Freire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Gil Paes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guaecá MZ's Samuca de Lima got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Samuca de Lima off the ground. The Guaecá MZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GeRaÇãO-83's performance. The match ended with a win for GeRaÇãO-83.
