An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Severo in the 3rd minute of play forced leobravo's goalkeeper Faustão Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, leobravo's Sílvio Luís Munhoz got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adalberto Severo sped through leobravo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustão Cosme. In the 10th minute, Laerte Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes, Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the leobravo and the Maracajau EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adalberto Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Zé Carlos da Rocha rounded Maracajau EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Artur Bueno was a little too slow when Zé Carlos da Rocha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-1. Faustão Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match Maracajau EC got a corner. leobravo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio Branco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Maracajau EC's Rony Pena getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Maracajau EC's Artur Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos da Rocha in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, leobravo's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Severo came free, but Faustão Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luís Munhoz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luís Munhoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, leobravo's Sílvio Luís Munhoz got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 41 played minutes leobravo got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Meira. 42 minutes into the match, leobravo's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Figueiredo came free, but Faustão Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maracajau EC's Artur Fernandes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos da Rocha in the 55th minute of play forced Maracajau EC's goalkeeper Artur Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Maracajau EC's Artur Bueno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Maracajau EC's zone, Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Bueno came out of the goal and Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Bueno came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by leobravo's Zé Carlos da Rocha. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, leobravo's Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Faustão Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Chicão Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maracajau EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave leobravo the free kick. Chicão Baiano hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes leobravo got a freekick which was hit by Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi. In the 85th minute, Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Artur Bueno. Enrique Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Faustão Cosme made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Maracajau EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mefodiy Sokolyanskyi came free, but Artur Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. leobravo's Faustão Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Severo in the 94th minute of play.
