Claudinei Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Williams went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Utoh Bachdim came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the A.S.Saint Ethiene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Utoh Bachdim couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's Giuseppe Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Jegham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudinei Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utoh Bachdim in the 33rd minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Utoh Bachdim to strike the kick off in the second half. Torreão OFF's Claudinei Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Penha in the 52nd minute of play. Håkan Molin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Claudinei Alvarenga made a huge save. Claudinei Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Penha in the 54th minute of the match.
