Paulo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Pernambucano in the 7th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Fabinho Pernambucano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo Terra to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th match minute, Torreão OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Paulo Terra made a huge save. Tarcisio Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Velloso during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torreão OFF! Paulo Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Encanto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laércio Travassos in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Osvaldinho Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Pernambucano in the 31st minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Paulo Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torreão OFF's Paulo Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Pernambucano in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Torreão OFF booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Paulão Sanches was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torreão OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encanto the free kick. A collision led to Torreão OFF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Paulão Sanches hit a great ball. Encanto's Fabinho Pernambucano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Osvaldinho Rocha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Torreão OFF's zone, Erasmo Hames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Terra came out of the goal and Erasmo Hames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabinho Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, Léo Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 minutes, Fabinho Pernambucano made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Torreão OFF's Paulo Terra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Léo Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Paulo Terra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Fabinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Terra came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Encanto's Fabinho Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Fabinho Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Fabinho Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Terra having to interfere. The supporters of Encanto booed when Torreão OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fabinho Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Terra was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Zézinho Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Laércio Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Terra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Pernambucano in the 76th minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Paulo Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho Rocha scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Terra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Encanto's Fabinho Pernambucano in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torreão OFF's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Pernambucano in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Torreão OFF defense, Erasmo Hames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Terra. The Torreão OFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Terra should have stopped the shot. Osvaldinho Rocha struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Paulo Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encanto. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Encanto had played much better football throughout.
