But to his dismay, Emilio Cascajares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 18 minutes into the game, Marcinho Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave October 04 the free kick. After 18 played minutes Cachoeira Paulista F.c got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Goiano. Emilio Cascajares scored 0-4 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Cascajares in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Emilio Cascajares came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cascajares couldn't finish the play. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Veiga having to make a save. Rafael Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 29th minute of play forced Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goalkeeper Rafael Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Cascajares took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Veiga. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 42 minutes of play, October 04's Emilio Cascajares made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zé Rafael fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachoeira Paulista F.c's protests and gave Zé Rafael a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of October 04 booed when Cachoeira Paulista F.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Rafael didn't get a good kick on the ball.

If Claudinei Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Emilio Cascajares took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Rafael Veiga to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th match minute, Cachoeira Paulista F.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho Goiano hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rafael Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Thorben Grill managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorben Grill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The October 04 fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when October 04's Emilio Cascajares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 82 minutes into the match, Emilio Cascajares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Veiga, 0-11. Rafael Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorben Grill went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. October 04's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
