Ian Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Olívio Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Moreno came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by SC FERRARI's Reinaldo de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Reinaldo de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 44th minute, Reinaldo de Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Reinaldo de Medeiros scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Squadra Demarchi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC FERRARI were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Pires was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo de Medeiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olívio Moreno came out and tried to block the shot, but Reinaldo de Medeiros slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 54th minute. Olívio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Salles in the 60th minute of play. In the 88th minute Serginho de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Otero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
