The audience was convinced that Ramón Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Xavier was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The supporters of Dino Soccer SE booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Wellington Velloso made the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Carlinhos Carvalho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 52nd match minute, Dino Soccer SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Nestor Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dino Soccer SE and the Squadra Demarchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dino Soccer SE getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nestor Paraibano hit a great ball. Rafa Breckenfeld got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dedê Koehler. Téo de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Fabrício Hermes hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Olívio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Nestor Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Olívio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
