When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Vladimir Albuquerque took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Afonso Macedo to make any attempt to save it. Leszek Miodek might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benny Stolpe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leszek Miodek ran back to his position shaking his head. If Vladimir Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fumo Erva kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Vladimir Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Macedo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
