After a defensive mix-up in SNIPER's zone, Beremundo Ochandiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Donatello came out of the goal and Beremundo Ochandiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SNIPER fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when SNIPER's Murillo Hermes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SNIPER's Marcinho Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Aparecido in the 8th minute of play. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after SNIPER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Junior Neymar took the corner. The corner led to I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Abelardo Carneiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When SNIPER's Murillo Hermes in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's goalie prevented a goal. Perivaldo Arósio might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Arósio ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Hermes came free, but Elói Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Arósio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Elói Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SNIPER. 30 minutes into the match, I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's goalkeeper Elói Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Valle. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo Hermes in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Murillo Hermes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói Taffarel was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Rafa Aparecido in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's Elói Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub from getting a goal against them. After having played for 44 minutes, Perivaldo Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SNIPER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristóvão Costa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Murillo Hermes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Elói Taffarel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Murillo Hermes put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elói Taffarel. I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub made a substitution. Reynaldo das Neves replaced Junior Neymar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Geovânio Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elói Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Arósio in the 61st minute of the match. Elói Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Elói Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Murillo Hermes sped through I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elói Taffarel. The supporters of SNIPER booed when I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Burdzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elói Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Elói Taffarel came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by SNIPER's Murillo Hermes. But to his dismay, Murillo Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 92nd minute, Murillo Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SNIPER's Marcinho Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SNIPER from getting a goal against them. In the 97th match minute, I-L-U-D-I-D-O-S fckclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Pereira to maneuver through the defense. SNIPER walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
